Over the years since EMID’s Directors became popularly elected at large, EMID has become a multiple service Municipal Improvement District giving its residents as much, or as little, governmental services as the majority want. EMID has provided, and /or provides the following services:
Administration center and public document bulletin board
Wastewater collection and disposal
Refuse collection and disposal
Street sweeping
Public works projects in conjunction with state and local agencies
Pest control
Fire hazard abatement
Emergency planning
Parks and Recreation facilities, programs and classes
Public meeting and events facilities
Public right of way beautification and maintenance
Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Embarcadero Municipal Improvement District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
